INSURANCE FOR MEMBERS

As part of your membership with England Squash you receive the benefit of Combined Liability and Group Personal Accident insurance. This web page provides an overview of how these policies benefit members and can offer guidance in respect of the insurance policies provided.

Who’s covered?
The following England Squash membership categories have insurance cover included:-
- Just Play- Public Liability and Personal Accident (including legacy members)
- Play Plus- Public Liability and Personal Accident (including life members)
- Junior- Public Liability and Personal Accident
Note- Community and Support membership categories do not have insurance cover included.
Permitted Activities
- All authorised and recognised activities by England Squash.
When does the cover operate?
Both the Liability and Personal Accident insurance apply when a member is participating in any recognised activity of England Squash.
The permitted activities are:
- Playing in club, county and/or national activities.
- Taking part in training organised by England Squash or clubs/county/national.
- Social squash (only members of England Squash with relevant membership category are covered)
- Personal Accident cover proceeding to and returning from away fixtures as part of an organised party using private cars, motor coaches or public transport but excluding aircraft or motor cycles.
Explore the insurance provided...
Provides cover that protects the member if they cause injury to a third party or damage to third party property. If the member is held legally liable compensation will be paid by insurers to the injured party. The member will only pay the policy excess of £250 if the third party injury and/or third party property damage claim is successfully made against you. Includes “Member to Member” cover.
- Public Liability - cover for your legal liability of up to £10,000,000 any one occurrence. This insurance provides protection against legal liability for bodily injury to third parties and damage to third party property.

Provides compensation for insured benefits caused by accidents.
Cover will extend to include benefits such as accidental death, permanent total disablement (e.g. loss of sight), facial and bodily scarring, funeral expenses, dental expenses, medical expenses (physio, x-ray and MRI scan), hospital daily benefit and broken bones.
Operative time: Whilst taking part in activities organised and/or recognised by England Squash including direct travel to and from home or place of activity.
