Insurance for members
The cover applies to Seasonal, Team Membership Plus, Individually Affiliated Members, Umpires, including RYLA, Coaches and Activators.
As part of your membership with Rounders England you automatically receive the benefit of the Public Liability insurance and Personal Accident benefits.
The annual policies run from 3rd April to 2nd April (both days inclusive)
Public & Products Liability – worldwide cover for your legal liability of up to £10,000,000 (£350 Excess)
Public liability insurance provides protection against legal liability for bodily injury to third parties and damage to third party property.
Products liability insurance provides protection against legal liability to pay compensation including legal costs for death or bodily injury, or damage to third party property arising from products supplied.
Please note Coaches and Umpires also receive Professional Indemnity insurance up to £10,000,000. This cover is in place to protect a coach/umpire for claims made against them which allege that a third party has suffered an injury or financial loss caused by negligent acts, errors or omissions during coaching/umpiring activities.
Cover is in place for all Team Membership plus Club Members, Affiliated Members, Associated Coaches and Umpires as declared to Rounders England.
This policy provides benefits if you are accidentally injured when participating in a sanctioned activity or event, or whilst taking part in a club organised activity. The covers also apply during a club organised social event.
Effective Time Whilst participating in any Rounders England approved activity or whilst travelling directly to and from such activity within the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland
Principal benefits:
- Accidental Death £25,000
- Permanent total disablement £25,000*
- Loss of sight in one or both eyes £25,000
- Loss of hearing in one ear £6,250
- Loss of hearing in both ears £25,000
- Loss of one or more limbs £25,000
- Temporary total disablement £75 per week (excess period 7 days, benefit period 52 weeks)
- Hospitalisation benefit £50 per day, up to £750
- Funeral expenses up to £10,000
- Dental Expenses up to £500
- Physiotherapy up to £1,000
- Broken bones, Arm or wrist - £500, Leg, ankle or kneecap £500
- Broken skull (excluding jaw and nose), collar bone, shoulder blade £500
*The basis of cover for permanent total disablement is any and every occupation.
