Please note that policy excesses apply and will be payable by the club in the event of a claim (with the exception of Employers Liability, Professional Indemnity & Abuse). These excesses are detailed under the relevant section headings below.
The following eligibility criteria will apply to clubs and organisations to receive the above insurances:
Commercial entities, such as ski centres and academies, are not insured.
Public liability insurance provides protection against legal liability for bodily injury to third parties and damage to third party property.
Products liability insurance provides protection against legal liability to pay compensation including legal costs for death or bodily injury, or damage to third party property arising from products supplied.
£15,000,000 each and every claim or loss, defence costs paid in addition, the limit is in the aggregate in respect of Products Liability.
The policy excess is £250.
Cover is provided by Sportscover Europe Ltd and American International Group UK Limited.
Cover for clubs against legal liability in respect of claims made for injuries suffered by a volunteer or employee during the course of authorised activities of the affiliated club.
£10,000,000 each and every claim, defence costs included.
There is no policy excess.
Cover is provided by Sportscover Europe Ltd.
Cover to protect against claims which allege that a third party has suffered an injury or financial loss caused by negligent acts, errors or omissions during club activities.
£5,000,000 each and every claim or loss and in the aggregate, defence costs included.
There is no policy excess.
Cover is provided by Sportscover Europe Ltd.
Cover for committee members and club officers against claims arising from their decisions or actions whilst managing the club.
£5,000,000 each and every claim or loss and in the aggregate, defence costs included.
The policy excess is £250.
Cover is provided by Sportscover Europe Ltd.
Cover for the club if they become legally liable to pay damages, including costs and expenses for claims arising from Abuse.
£2,000,000 any one claim and in the aggregate dating back to 01/12/2014, cover is stepped back as follows:
Between 01/12/2011 – 01/12/2014 £500,000 any one claim and in the aggregate
Between 01/12/1985 – 01/12/2011 £100,000 any one claim and in the aggregate
There is no policy excess.
Cover is provided by Sportscover Europe Ltd.
Cover is included for the club’s equipment for loss, damage or theft.
£5,000 cover per club or organisation
The policy excess is £100.
